After a very inspiring workshop this week on I've downloaded some test L2 observations and already got a convertor going to put it in the necessary format for assimilation.
Just gotta think about superobbing and thinning, but hopefully that'll be straightforward!

Christopher Jones (Univ. North Carolina) introduces Data Assimilation for Lagrangian Models.

New formulations are needed to include the time-varying vertices of the mesh in the Data Assimilation state vector.

Marina Durรกn Moro (MET Norway) carries assimilation of Level2 Concentration from : from each orbit individually.

This performs better than assimilating daily average products, but there are regional dependency.

Anton Korosov (NERSC) presents the new Climate Daya Record. It is based on a Lagrangian mesh and gives access to the fraction of individual age classes.
