Now that I have my #XPlane #flightsim solid again, I flew my Cessna 172SP KBUR to KSAN on the RNAV (RNP) Z RWY 27 approach to Lindbergh Field. Then hopped in the DC-3 on floats, jumped over to the bay for some fishing, and then beached it for a nice lunch. Recruited a team of sherpas to help me push it back into the water after grub.

Sitting on the deck at the Walter Cafe at Regatta Point this morning and what should interrupt the morning calm and view but a seaplane taking off.

I wasn't quick enough to snap it as it taxied across the water in the direction of the Corillon to take off - but here it is just visible above Kings Ave Bridge.

I assume it left from Commomwealth Place near the flags per the image in the link?! So much for West Basin terminal that's been touted as the terminal.
