@JonfuciusOnline I always loved #seaQuestDSV it’s a shame it went off the rails.

So I've been rewatching #seaQuestDSV season 1 where Bob Ballard comes on & talks about the science from that week's episode over the end credits.
It could be really fun if @drerinmac or @mafnoor did that for modern #StarTrek (kidding, well, mostly)

A #SeaQuest (#SeaQuestDSV) reboot would be nice. In the meantime I have to watch it again to see how that aged.

2️⃣ Lots of guest stars from the world of science fiction TV in this one. #GeorgeMurdock from #BattlestarGalactica, #RosalindAllen from #SeaQuestDSV, and #CarolKane from #StarTrekStrangeNewWorlds.

3️⃣ #JasonAlexander’s heroic monologue at the very end is a thing of genius.

Currently rewatching #seaQuestDSV which shockingly is 30 years old. My main memories of the first season is that it was a bit dull and it would seem that my memory served me well. Feature length Pilot episode showed promise with Shelley Hack as an evil undersea bitch vowing to destroy the seaQuest, loads of opportunity for drama and adventure. Episode 2... erm, Darwin (the talking dolphin) catches an underwater cold...

I wasn't a regular viewer of #StargateSG1. But when I did watch it—I first watched it in weekend syndication in 1998, when Fox affiliates aired SG-1 episodes 6 months after their premiere on Showtime—I liked how Colonel MacGyver was impatient with technobabble. He's me if I got zapped into an episode of #StarTrekVoyager, which was up to its ass in technobabble during SG-1's run on Showtime.

SG-1 airing on Showtime was strange. It was like if #seaQuestDSV started out as an HBO Original Series.
