Today, I'm going to perform some tests with #SeaweedFS. I've been testing it years ago and it was fine, but not for my use case.
Now I want to see how it evolved and could implement it. I'll try both on #Linux and #FreeBSD. Stay tuned!
Extra credit to test out #seaweedfs and it's various modes. It's interesting as it can be straight object storage, or a metadata layer can be added for POSIX compatibility. And it _might_ be easier to configure than cephs
