I've been arguing for over twenty years (to anyone who would listen, and almost no one gets it) that the key to the perennial paradoxes of #Consciousness, #SelfIdentity, and #FreeWill—and fundamental to a coherent #Metaethics—is understanding the relationship of the observer to the observed, especially when the observer _is_ the observed.

Now I have some reading to catch up on.
