I've decided on a new strategy for this #SockKnitting project. I've knit the foot of the #FirstSock, passed it on to holding needles, and picked up the already cast-on #SecondSock with the DPNs.

The plan is to knit the foot second sock so that I'm doing the gusset increases and heels of both socks concurrently. I'm hoping this will give me more consistently sized sock pairs. My finished socks are almost always slightly off.

Project Update

This yarn is #knitting up beautifully and will make lovely socks. I have the #SecondSock cast-on to cabled needles waiting for my #DPNs to finish this first one.

This #SecondSock is now a #FinishedObject. So I have a pair though you can see that the notes I found were not enough to ensure an exact match. They'll do.

I've made it to the gusset increases whilst binge watching #Supernatural. This is how my son and I spend family time together.

I have added a few more rows to the #SecondSock. From the notes I found yesterday:
Cascade Yarns - Heritage Prints - 75% Superwash Merino/ 25% Nylon

The downside to having unfinished #knitting projects that have been sitting awhile is that when one would like to complete said project one might forget details. Such as what row, any adjustments one may have made, or (relevant to a project not pictured) the cast-on one may have used.
Must get better at taking notes about projects even if I am usually more a process knitter.
