While I have little interest in exposing myself to high volumes of political outrage, I recognize that secular activism comes with a lot of it. I need to figure out how to stay connected to secular activism without the burnout that results from chronic outrage and division.

Many atheists have called on mainstream Christians to speak out against Christian nationalism. When they do, it is important to support them. Even if we don't agree with 100% of what they've said, we can thank them and amplify their message so more will see it. We can recognize them as allies in the effort to preserve democracy. We can't do it without them.
