I attended my first Festival of Nations with my high school German language class in the early 1980s. I brought my own child to the event many, many times. (One advantage of homeschooling is you can choose to make more time for awesome field trips.)

I confess that I mostly went for the awesome food!

One the courses that my teenager's YDSC (Youth Drone Sports Championships) team races every week. There's a different course each week, each designed to fit in a classroom. There's a mirror in the tall gate and an app that runs on an iPad that records when the drone passes through the gate. It's been a great experience for my kid.

All of my pets absolutely love to attend Zoom meetings, and they were all very upset when I attempted to use the bed as a tabletop for yesterday's course planning meeting.

(We used a Jamboard online but had used the Post-It Note version in-person for some crowdsourced preliminary planning during co-op. The paper Post-It Notes have a lot more information than the Jamboard stickies, so I was in charge of cross referencing them.)

One of the teens at my kids’ homeschool co-op had a great idea for a CODING CLUB for teens that she envisioned as a mutually supportive co-working space for programming in the company of others, assisting each other through problems, sharing progress on personal projects, and possibly collaborating on a project (rather than as a place to learn to program). … (1 or 4)
