I am curious why anyone would want a #Roth #IRA. As I am fairly certain my income at retirement will be tiny, so I want it tax-free now while my tax percentage is high. Can someone who knows explain this to me? #financialPlanning
The #SecureAct of 2022 supposedly puts an emphasis on Roth.

Hey y'all, I am seeing some claims on here that the law change happening right now delays 401k withdrawal dates to age 73. There seems to be some confusion or possible misinformation circulating on this.
Every reference I can find shows that RMD (being forced to take money out of your 401k) is being pushed to age 73.
No change to the age you can choose to take money out if you need it.

Let's start with the retirement scam. The budget bill includes Rep Richie Neal's [DINO-MA] #SECUREAct 2.0, which gives savers with retirement funds until age 75 to cash out their retirement savings - netting an extra three years of tax-free growth for the lucky, tiny minority with substantial retirement savings. This follows on Neal's SECURE Act 1.0 of 2019, when the age was raised from 70.5 to 72.
