There are as many different Seder plate arrangements as there are stars in the heavens. I follow the arrangement prescribed by the holy Arizal, which I believe is the most common nowadays. Shankbone top right, egg top left, horseradish in middle, charoset bottom right, karpas (I use a potato) bottom left, and lettuce below them in the middle. What’s your custom?
