@advisorybriefs When I visited , back in June, I actually overheard stupid shit like this was happening when I visited the city’s chamber of commerce.

One of the people behind the desk mentioned that although the city has grown a lot over the past 20 years, a lot of that growth isn’t the good kind. A lot of homes are empty because they’re timeshares, short-term/long-term rentals, or summer homes. The tourists and wealthy are happy, but the long-time residents aren’t.
