Der fünfte Chucky-Film beginnt als interessante Hollywood-Satire rund um den fiktiven Abstieg der Schauspielerin . Allerdings verlässt der Film diesen Pfad schnell wieder um ein bizarres Puppentheater mit Gore-Einlagen aufzubieten (samt skurriler Martial Arts Einlage im „großen“ Finale). Wirklich innovativ bleibt lediglich die Darstellung der Figur Glen/Glenda, die ihrer Zeit tatsächlich mehr als voraus war. ruhr.social/@Solid_Snail/11008
