We had played videos with sound of fireworks when she was younger but we had never seen them in real life. And so close! Pup did okay but she was not comfortable.

He was actually flirting with his own reflection. I laughed when he figured out what was happening. He seemed to do a little birdie shrug and flew to the front window of the car. Then, he noticed his reflection again - "Hey, good lookin'!" - and started preening and posing and flirting AGAIN. It took him a minute to realize the "other bird" was mirroring him exactly, and he seemed to give a little birdie sigh and flew over to the side mirror of the car. And... immediately started flirting with his reflection there.
Hope springs eternal... but is not always very bright. 🙂
