I deal with multiple chronic conditions, including #ADHD, #AnkylosingSpondylitis, #RheumatoidArthritis, #seizures, and #migraine.

Most importantly, I love cats and have 4 of them.

You might wonder what the big deal is.

Flashing lights at that cadence can definitely cause #Seizures.

For me, it caused a massive migraine. One that took 10 hours before I could be in normal lighting again. Even today, everything seemed a bit too bright.

#Disabilities are real and scary at time.

#Accessibility can be as simple as not turning on the flashing lights!

Lost over a day to health bs again so we have until 11pm to come up with the remaining $1777 we owe the inn or we’re going to be evicted and end up back on the streets, but with all the cats this time.

Don't give up. It took years but I finally found a neurologist who believed me. Then an EEG finally confirmed that I was having seizures. I've been on Keppra for about 18 months. After about two weeks it had stopped completely.

I've been on #keppra at 750mg twice a day for a long time.

Three weeks ago, we reduced it to 500mg twice a day. My seizures did not come back.

I've just had an appointment with a #neurologist and we're reducing it now to 250mg twice a day, for 3 weeks and then I'm stopping. Of course, that's assuming my #seizures don't come back.

I was thinking about going to a 7-day retreat at my #Zen center, a few states away from where I live.

I also also thinking about how I'd present this to Pretty Impala, seeing as our relationship is just starting.

Then I remembered that I'm tapering off the keppra that keeps my seizures at bay. If I were to have a seizure while #driving or at the Zen center I'd be in deep #shit because most states want you off the road when you have #seizures.
