Some of the largest #selenite #crystals in the world are found at the Naica mine, in the State of #Chihuahua , #Mexico. The longest crystal found there is 12 mts. long and weighs 65 tons. The mine is private property and due to extreme heat (58 C) and humidity the crystal galleries are not open to the public.

After visiting my yew tree earlier and making the #altar there (which I posted about a few hours ago), tonight is a simple crystal grid featuring nothing but selenite that I collected myself from Wiltshire clay. I’ll fall asleep watching that flame. Ending my #WinterSolstice beautifully.
