After all, people living under dictatorships know that spouting off about their discontent and desire for change is a risky business, so they will #SelfCensor on social media. That's true even if a person isn't afraid of retaliation: if you know that using certain words or phrases in a post will get it autoblocked by a censorbot, what's the point of trying to use those words?

To those who have been following, the #InformationWar has *actively* led to current problems.

Please don't express that we should #selfCensor because a nation has been forced into a corner and has finally after years of being ignored, belittled, dismissed suppressed, deplatformed, now is countering aggression with what they obviously perceive as the necessary force.
