@WizardBear @Mary625 @Hey_Beth @TonyStark Sides getting an education helps one to know what he’s doing when they get a job, start a company or just buy one and is handily destroying it. Idiot can’t code, the #SelfDDOS one example, more in this article.

@mike “an attention leeching hate mill” run by an attention seeking child judging by his tweets and lack of education. Destroying a resource used by many people/countries for breaking news, respected scientists, the list goes on. Hard to use all the hate and fear to drive engagement when users are restricted from seeing it cause he #SelfDDOS his platform. I like it here, much nicer environment.
@mergesort it hasn't started trying to #SelfDDoS yet has it? Then it'll truly be a copy.
Magic Mushrooms. LSD. Ketamine. The Drugs That Power Silicon Valley. - WSJ majorly dumb to use a drug that causes hallucinations while coding software Elon’s #selfDDOS #TwitterFail https://archive.is/2023.06.30-220512/https://www.wsj.com/amp/articles/silicon-valley-microdosing-ketamine-lsd-magic-mushrooms-d381e214
@BabsSheKing Lol. I love that all the stories about Twitter lately have an echo of my voice in the background. I don't care that I'm not mentioned and it's better anyway if I'm not. It's more likely to stick for longer if it feels like the term #selfDDoS came from nobody and nowhere.
@Teri_Kanefield @theloneapple years ago I used an RSS feed. Now I have a list of publications I follow in Apple News and have no problems finding specific topics. Others like MSN and Yahoo News are useful too which also has NYTimes. Can’t afford to subscribe to all. I did like the experts I found on Twitter but site has too many problems, most recently #selfDDOS and limiting what we can read. One workaround Threadreader app still works for now.
@grumpygryphon I found you here not on #TwitterFail with Elon messing around causing a #selfDDOS then limiting the vast majority of accounts that won’t pay. I wish more would move. I have saved links to their art sites if they don’t and check to see if/where they move.
Twitter CEO backs widely criticized tweet-reading rate limits - Reuters dumb as rate limits affect all users that don’t pay which is a lot. Note no mention of Elon’s move to limit those not logged in from seeing tweets which led to the #SelfDDOS. Generally when one pays to use a platform, no ads are an expected benefit. Not sure that applies to #Twitter sides most ads there are pathetic lolol. https://apple.news/AjsDamLcoRrqg2fSPCyyXwA
@phellanthropist #TwitterFail yesterday was a #selfDDOS cause Elon doesn’t know what he’s doing. Friend shared there. This article explains more. He needs to hire competent software engineers as he’s clueless.
@fraying the NYTimes missed the juicy part #TwitterFail #selfDDOS thanks to Elon. He needs to hire competent software engineers as he isn’t.

If you are reading this, consider yourself summoned into duty to from this day on refer to Twitter using proper terms of address.
When mentioning Twitter, it is considered polite to refer to it as "the self-DDoSing Twitter."
* Usage Examples *
Former usage: "Good morning to all of my beautiful followers on Twitter. How are you all doing?"
Correct usage:
"Good morning to everyone who hasn't yet fled this Self DDoSing site. Are you OK?"
"Is it really worth paying $8/month to get a blue check on this self DDoSing site?"
"In October of 2024, after two turbulent years of ownership, billionare Elon Musk sold the Self DDoSing Twitter for a sack of extra large Yukon Gold potatoes at an estimated loss of 44 billion. The buyers reportedly claimed they didn't want the company, but buying Twitter was the only way to get the out of stock sink that Musk famously carried into Twitter HQ on his first day of ownership."
All of us who work in IT have made mistakes, we're all human of course. But a self DDOS on the biggest platform on the internet - that truly is one for the connoisseurs. Properly hilarious.

Today I'm not able to post anything on Twitter, but I think I've finally figured out Elon Musk. It's always about the meme.
Yesterday, monkey could not read. Today, monkey could not post.
I fully expect tomorrow to reference the Hear-No-Evil Monkey when Twitter Spaces will have no audio.
#Twitter の視聴制限はどうやらバグによる #selfddos というお粗末なものらしい。

Today in the annals of the Self DDOSing Twitter we follow the story of the three wise monkeys.
Yesterday was Monkey-can't-read-Twitter. Today seems to be Monkey-can't-post-Twitter.
If tomorrow isn't Monkey-can't-hear-audio-in-Spaces-Twitter I'll be sorely disappointed.
So, anyone else unable to post to Twitter today? If you can, feel free to screenshot this and tag @sysop408 on Twitter.
I was just discussing the #TwitterDown #MastodonMigration #DDOS #TwitterFail #SelfDDOS with a twitter refugee, IRL friend and it occurred to me, this is what humans have always done as other humans invade. Some leave to tell the truth to the world (like Einstein's migration to the USA in the 1930s), sometimes in full flight, as refugees. (Like Einstein in the 1930s.) OK, there aren't the threats of firing squads and "account death" isn't actual death, it's a silencing, but violence is traumatic, accumulative and harmful. Likewise microvilences accumulate, slowly, sure, but the harm still gets done.
Elon "Muck" is an aggressor, a tyrant, a fascist. Twitter has become a battleground between hollow opinion and reasoned dissent. It is a war zone. Bombs aren't falling. People aren't dying, but the behaviour of the platform's self-appointed supreme leader is weaponised gaslighting, weaponised abuse, in short a war _of_ torment. Singling out the different ("cis is term of abuse") and using their reasoned, evidenced position against them in abusive propagandist's twisted reversal of the attacked group's position.
Trans? "They're the problem!" ~ Elon Hitler
Evidence based and academic? "What do they know?!" ~ Elon Mussolini.
This fight for Twitter (I believe Twitter is lost, sorry) is the evolution of war. The "corporate aristocracy" have gone to war on the heart of democracy, public discussion, in much the way Trump went to war on legal procedure and common decency (as in manners, not morality, the latter itself, hijacked.)
I left Facebook because I was no longer willing to allow my reactions to feed Meta's product motive. I fled the evolution of slavery, a pseudo-consensual slavery of our psychology rather than bodies. I am a dissenter in exile. Writing what I can.
Those of you from twitter, really are refugees. Not fleeing a physical threat, not in fear of life, still with your rooves over your heads sure, but in fear of your voice being unilaterally silenced without trial or evidence, more easily than by spilling your blood.
This is what #cyberwar looks like.
