Much of his work consists of portraits and self-portraits. This line stood out: “The portraits are movingly honest, made with no digital intervention; what you see is what was there.” That’s one of the reasons I admire his work. They’re intimate and honest, unlike any other images I’ve seen. Thanks to @dianemagras for buying the book for me. She knew I’d like it. #Photography #SelfPortraiture
