An amazingly fruity and mind blowing Sriracha salsa prepared by our best cheffie friend, Richard, from our own chillies, peppers and tomatoes. So good to have someone who really knows how to use our local produce. We can keep in the fridge for several months but somehow I don't think it will last that long!

From my girlfriend’s garden:
This is a Milpa (or three sisters) – an indigenous, traditional form of agriculture from Middle America. Squash, Beans and Corn are planted together and complement each other: The Squash’s leaves cover the soil and stop it from drying out, the Corn serves as a climbing structure for the Beans, and the Beans provide nutrients the other two plants need.

A big theme is that I really gravitate to #DIY and #selfsufficiency things, and frequently start a lot of side projects and have various thought-weeds growing in the back of my mind. Plenty of interesting things to post about, but I frequently pick up and drop things, forget to follow up, and sometimes feel self conscious. (ADHD life in a nutshell.) But the above topics are definitely consistent long term interests.
