Johan came up with an ingenious strategy for modelling networks of networks - cases where you have multiple reports on the same network, and the sources of those reports are themselves connected.

The framework is illustrated using Nikita and colleagues' fascinating socio-semantic data, where a) each person produces a semantic network based on how they refer to concepts in their discourse, b) the people are themselves tied in a social network, and c) there is an external "expert" semantic network against which to compare the participants' semantic networks.

Basically, if you represent ties in the reported networks as nodes which can be connected based on co-reporting, you can analyse a network of networks using any tools for analysing multilevel network.
