To #Collect the resins, the #Bark is cut, which allows the #Essence to seep out & dry into a crystal. The #Prized #Crystals were transported w/ #Nomads & regarded as #Precious as #Gold, #Gems, or #Spices.
Frankincense is #French for #Pure #Incense. Myrrh is #Semetic for #Bitter.
