Yes. There's a ton of similar projects. I guess the need for people to manage their info overload is only growing :)
But all the options made me hold off on choosing a particular one, just waiting how these projects mature.
Also I'd rather see a collaborative solution. It might even be a fedi app. I once wrote some stuff on that, see #Semmy on #SocialCoding movement: https://discuss.coding.social/t/semmy-social-knowledge-fabrics/76
OT to the question, but regarding the project I'd like to point to a idea I wrote down that may be inspiring.. I called it #Semmy, social knowledge fabrics, which are combining #wiki and #fediverse technology to allow universal / community / personal 'knowledge gardening'.

Thank you. Note, they are twice the same link. I've added it to the #Semmy topic on Social Coding forum: https://discuss.coding.social/t/semmy-social-knowledge-fabrics/76/11
Afraid I do not have many pointers. But personally I came to see the beauty of your social graph just representing your uniquely personal interactions with others. Hence also determining what search can find.
For knowledge / information something similar.. I wrote a bit about #Semmy on #SocialCoding forum.. social knowledge fabrics:
