As a native-born Illinoisan—albeit now a Virginian by choice—it pains me to admit that #senatordurbin is simply not up to the task of chairing the all-important Senate Judiciary Committee. He is not the man to meet the challenge of this dangerous time.

If you are an ILL resident, call Senator Durbin and tell him to yeet the blue slips for judicial nominations into the sun.

Tell him that he cannot cling to his friendships while his "friends" burn the country down.

Tell him that it's more important to seat progressive judges than to keep the appearance of civility with his "colleagues".
