I recently started using Sengi on Arch Linux, and I just discovered today that it automatically divides long texts into the necessary number of individual toots, as it continues counting the accumulated characters.

I just figured out how to use lists on #Mastodon and holy excrement this is useful. Combined with #Sengi's multi-column display and I get a sense of how people can keep up to date with a #SocialMedia feed while also holding down a full-time job.

@hirad @ikkeT Yeah, I agree, @phanpy is really cool to recommend at this point, but there's another #Mastodon app that also do allows you to do the same thing - it's @sengi_app .

I can't say that one is better then another, but you better try both.

Sengi do allows you to have column view as well..... whatever, just try it :-)

I'm not sure what you going to pick, but it depends on your preferences.

P.S. Please note that #SengiApp is a desktop app, but it has a web client too.

Trying out #sengiapp for managing multiple accounts... wow this is pretty cool! Tho i wish i could make each timeline wider; the amount of text wrap you get is less than ideal.

Teste gerade #fedistar als Alternative zur #sengiapp aus. Vom Handling und der Optik her finde ich es bisher nicht schlecht, aber die Funktionen und Einstellung beschränken sich bisher wirklich auf das absolute Minimum. Da ist definitiv noch Luft nach oben.

Seit ein paar Tagen kriegt die #sengiapp meine local und federated timeline von hessen.social nicht mehr geladen.
Woran könnte das liegen?

Is there any info on how to have more than 1 profile working? I have 2 added, but when I click on the 'other' one and start to make a post, it is showing coming from the first one. I see them both flashing with no way to stop the flashing on either!
Also, I was hoping that when I click on the second profile, only the columns selected by that profile would show, but they add to the first ones with no way to scroll sideways. Perhaps I'm not doing this right?
