Still no walk.Air was better but it rained all day. Dad worked in the garage all day. I stayed out there with him a lot of the day. I have a bed there by the door to the house. He is lower down, where the car and bikes are. He lets me in if I get tired of being there.

I took #Rufus outside and I got swarmed by bugs. I used the junk mail I had just gotten to swat around my head and face. Rufus looked at me confused as if to say " What are you doing? Were you a bad boy or something?"

I found a sunny spot in the house to wait for dad to get ready for our walk. It rained and made that awful scary noise all night but now it is cool and clear and I think we should go to the park for a real walk!

Mom and dad took me for a ride in the car today. We went to that place where they weigh me and feel me all over and talk about me.
They said i have lost 4 pounds. I don't know what that means but I know I

POUNDS.
No dogs do.
If four of them got lost, GOOD!
They talked and talked about how I walk and how I talk. The lady said I am normal for an older dog and the things mom and dad wondered about are no big deal.
I could have told them that! I am strong like bull!

I laugh when people get scared of #Rufus, and I know it is only because I know him so well. But Rufus is a fairly big dog and strangers see him and are often intimidated. If they only knew all he wants is butt rubs and treats and that he could not chase them at this point if his life depended on it...

My son rescued a senior dog. She lived in a yard without shelter, toys or treats She is now 19 and was diagnosed with lung cancer today. My son is facing that awful decision but regrets nothing. Dogs are home from the vet. Sebastián has an abscess and now has antibiotics. Nikita also has antibiotics because he has an infection where he had surgery over a year ago.

Nikki also has a mass on his backend, which may be a tumor but whatever it is, it's also infected so they can't do a biopsy til that's cleared up. It could just be an infected hemorrhoid.

So other than that, they're not doing too bad for 13 and 14 year old dogs.

I can breathe for now.
