Mistplay pays pretty quickly at 1st, though earning gift cards is harder after a while.
Rewarded Play is slower, but also pays.
Habit Gift also pays, but much slower than the others.
No opinion on Tap Champs yet, but it looks like a slow one w/few game options.
I have actually claimed (and spent) about $200 in gift cards to Amazon in the last 2 months. Not getting rich but it does help.

My back is staging a strike.

The ONLY relief I get is from the hot tub, and that's temporary as well as restricted by how long I can use it before overheating. To add in the mix is mother nature. She's standing with my back for the strike with a string of thunderstorms.

Gotta love life.

Today was a horrible, awful positively no good kind of day with pain. The hot tub had gotten turned off when we had a brief power outage last night, so it took all day to get to a min temp. Nothing helps, so I'm going to hit the hay and hope tomorrow is better.

Cross your fingers that my back settles down and I can move a bit!

Today's dinner is courtesy of Dinnerly. We used their meal kit yesterday for chicken fajitas.

I hope their gyros are better than their fajitas were. I'm a good cook, so simplified recipes minus many of the traditional ingredients are a hard sell for me.

It's 4 pm. I am drinking my first cup of coffee for the day. I brushed my hair, but I'm not dressed yet either.

I've got a caffeine headache from sleeping so late minus coffee.

This is what post "bad day" looks like for me. Not possible to do much of anything, but hubby had a nice quiet day w/o "honey do's".

It's 3 am and I just finished round 2 in the hot tub, so it's obviously NOT a great pain day so far. Since bed should be calling me soon, I'm hoping for a better day tomorrow.

I'm very thankful that the hot tub is another tool in my arsenal to cope with pain that's never going to really go away.

For a number of years, I've used a "train case" (aka cosmetic case) for my medicines. However, recently, I've had some bulky ones added that come in huge bottles. Sure, I could repackage them, but...if I travel, that's not wise either. So, I'm looking for a case that is taller, convenient to carry & use, & holds these mega bottles.

It's a pia to search on Amazon for such a thing.

Well, hubby made an excellent dinner, despite the lamentations of his "having" to do it himself. The only bust was not his fault--it turns out we're not fans of oven roasted broccoli. Crunchy browned bits and broccoli aren't good combos for us.

I told him he did such a good job that I think he should do dinner tomorrow too. (Insert evil grin here.)

Of course, I still unloaded & reloaded the dishwasher. Can't expect a miracle, can I?

I have ruined the hubby's day.

I'm not only suffering with a very painful shoulder, but I'm still recovering from the prep for my colonoscopy...and feel like crap. So, I handed him the recipe card for a EveryPlate delivery meal...and asked him to cook it.

He's a good cook, but rarely does it. He wasn't happy, as he'd have rather just had a sandwich and called it dinner.

A couple of months ago, a blackberry thorn got into my shoe & punctured my foot. It was a booger & took a lot of fussing to get it to heal.

Then guess what?

Thorn boo boo became a corn!

Never had one, never even saw one before. It was a painful mystery.

So now a "medicated corn pad" is in place, which has eased some of the pain. Hopefully, I can send this thing packing.

Garlic is roasting for garlic aioli. Ginger carrots are cooking. Not sure what exactly I'm making for dinner today, although we do still have leftover pot roast from the loin section I cooked while I was sleeping.

I'm hoping to reset my sleep cycle. I'm going to have the granddaughters at the end of the week, and they are NOT nocturnal.

I've taken most of my morning meds, figured I may as well have a cup of coffee too.

I realized that I still really love my AeroPress. I can't hardly stand the wimpy drip coffee these days. I'm turning into some psycho coffee snob, other than I also love my Folgers Black Silk coffee over any other, including fresh beans.

I wonder how long until Bootsie (one of the smallest & youngest) decides to pick on Meeka (our perma-kitten tortie that's 3 yrs old) She's been shrieking every time he starts for DAYS.

Well, I can't sleep. So I saw the sun rise & put on a piece of pork loin roast with plenty of garlic, carrots, celery, onions and potatoes for our dinner to slow roast in the oven.

I apparently undid the benefits of the hot tub last night when I slipped before getting out. I seem to have pulled a muscle in my lower back & hip...

Gotta love getting old.

Well, the storm came as usual, but it was all over-and-done by 9 pm, perfect for my nightly hot tub time. I had a peaceful hour outside, alone with the night, everyone in the neighborhood having retreated inside for the night.

Anyone who thinks rural life is "quiet" at night has never lived near nature. Between the insects, frogs, and assorted birds, nighttime may lack human noise, but it's NOISY here in the South.

@wowdane I'm a bit edgy about doing it. I haven't had short hair in over 30 years now & hubby hasn't ever seen me with it. If I cut it, I'm intending it to be very short & I suspect he's not going to be thrilled with it either. I'm not anxious for the higher maintenance of short hair though, which is the only thing that keeps me on the fence! #SeniorLife #HairDo

Got up early (for me) and went through that initial rise-and-shine routine, including coffee. Then I opted for a stint back in bed due to sleepiness.

Back up again, and actually finished getting ready for the day, including brushing my hair.

Diabetes, heart disease, thyroid disease...and my hair is very thin. I braided it once last week, and each braid was as thin as a 2 yr olds would be. I'm seriously thinking about shearing it all off.
