There's lots I'd redo, and perhaps I will another time. Many mistakes were made, the rear brake housing should probably have come around the fork, the bar tape is icky, the caps HAVE to be replaced, etc, etc. But you know what? I'm pretty proud. Everything is working. And it's not going to be a daily ride anyway. I may strip it all and install hydraulic next fall, and take what I've learned and do better.

Slight snag that perhaps the internet can help with. Trying to set up my front derailleur, and have it working, but only if I maintain pressure on the shifter. As soon as I release it the shifter and derailleur snap back to the smallest ring. Not sure if I have a faulty shifter?

Or perhaps some adjustment on it I can't find?

Last thing for today. Rear derailleur installed, not torqued down yet, and trying to figure out how to measure a chain. Will cut and install it tomorrow I think.
