On a trip to the Arctic in 2012, we met the ship’s doctor who had been a GP in the Falklands (with her husband and two young children) at the time of the war in 1982.

She’s a Scot now living in Australia and her humorous prescription for every condition was either champagne or chocolate or preferably both 👍

And that right there is how long (8 months) it took before the first time I regretted setting my Mastodon settings to auto-expand content warnings and always show me images with the "sensitive" flag set.

It wasn't an evil image or anything, just an accurately tagged and flagged "three girls, one paper plate" scenario sexualizing a bodily function in a way that squicks me.
