The very best thing about the holiday season when being a #neurodiverse person is being able to indulge in the #SensoryJoy of #sparklystuff with all the #shiny and #tinsel and #glitter without anyone calling you weird. In fact, they'll compliment you on how much effort you've gone to.

There is no such thing as "too much" tinsel and "too many" baubles.

I turn 30 in a couple of weeks and all I want is to be in a room lit by bubble lamps and fairy lights listening to some gentle rain as I lie on a bed of fluffy cushions, blankets and soft toys because grown-up life is tiring and I need to recharge

@peanutcheese I'm just starting to realise how much kinder certain fabrics feel, and finally letting myself choose clothes that give me #SensoryJoy!

And yes, I also have 'indoor' and 'outdoor' clothes, as well as clothes that just match the different vibes (mood, special interests, different parts of my identity) I feel like on the day.
