I highly recommend Miro (miro.com)
for running online. It's great for tracking the scene, passing around boosts and hinders, sharing character sheets, and posting rules reminders.

New episode day! We’re joined by @mancusoscifi and @iangregory for the Back Matter for from Greater Than Games and Critical Hits Studios.

We talk about the game’s remarkable “guided” character creation method, the balance between its narrative and simulationist sides, how it would be a great Inferno simulator, and Fiona reveals the results of her dice spreadsheet.

I’m reflecting on playing games for APs vs. at home and what feels good mechanically vs. what feels good when you’re listening.

When we finished recording our AP we felt only so-so. Steph was frustrated by doing the same thing 3x in a row in the last scene, I was disappointed in my pacing, and overall we did a lot of basic actions and very few fancy moves.

And I think the back matter reflects that mood a little bit. There was a lot to love but a lot of challenges.

I had a fun session of Eldritch Streets, my Sentinel Comics rpg series, last night. They investigated the kidnapping of some orphans. Some good social interactions. We ended with them going to the abandoned amusement park where the orphans are held.
