Meanwhile! Just wrapped up this week's session of the #SentinelsRPG chronicle my friend's running. Had lots of fun with a Kirby-esque villain with an army of floating stone Olmec heads and fearsome Jaguar-Men!

(Also my character's Best Frenemy showed up to steal her favorite shirt and then abscond with a bunch of loot while everyone else was distracted fighting supervillains).

Wednesday means it's time for #SentinelsRPG. Woo!

And now I'm thinking about the mild temporal dissonance of a weekly game meant to mirror the beats of a monthly comic book.

(Our comic book isn't popular enough to be biweekly yet).

So yeah, the team in this #SentinelsRPG consists of:

The reincarnation of an ancient Chinese shapeshifter demon.

A Time Lord, basically.

A Space Wizard (who sounds like Christopher Walken)

A grown-up sidekick from the Golden Age.

... and my hapless college student with ice powers who's way in over her head.

Wednesday nights are game nights, which means it's time to finally debut the Silver Age Milady de Winter in tonight's session of #SentinelsRPG.

Uh oh, you've done and did it. Time for me to explain some metatextual nonsense in this #SentinelsRPG campaign, since you asked.

The gimmick is, each story arc covers a comic time period of a fictional comics company. We wrapped up the Golden Age a bit ago, and now we're onto the Silver Age.

Hence, I've so far come up with FOUR different versions of Milady de Winter, my PC. Complete with fictional publication history.

Had session zero of an upcoming #SentinelsRPG campaign last night!

It's gonna be Silver Age themed, so I opted for a Spider Man esque "Superhero teenager with goofy melodrama" character. To the point I've started coming up with supporting cast/minor villains for her to cross paths with.

This said, the rest of the PC's super-team includes literal gods and space wizards, so it'll be interesting to see how far the goofy teenager gets in over her head.
