Lunch with Opor Ayam Tahu with shrimp crisp (Kerupuk) in this raining season gives me such a good mood. The chicken is so soft and half thick gravy makes it the best combination. Warm rice as always.
Opor is a typical Javanese food that appeared in the early 15th century. Served on holidays such as Eid, Cap Go Meh, and others. Opor turns out to be a culinary blend of Chinese, Indian and Javanese cultures.

Slice of my niece's frozen birthday cake for dessert because I haven't eaten much cake yesterday so here we go.
Having boiled Cassava Leaves (Local says Sayur Singkong/Jangan Oblok-oblok) and Mendoan with warm rice for breakfast. This traditional Indonesian foods already popular since 1800s in Java Island. The savory and crunchy taste of the combination of leaves and vegetables is so delicious.
Happy breakfast.
