I tried getting a #Septa Key card from two different "kiosks." I didn't manage to get a card but I may have picked up hepatitis.
Only about one week before #SEPTA hearings regarding major proposed changes to nearly all bus routes, they're finally playing announcements on buses.
If they have a shit about riders this would've happened months ago
Talk of local funding for #SEPTA from 1980: The Metropolitian Transit Authorities Act would've taxed businesses at 1% and generated $174 million. Instead, not shit happened
SEPTA has to be the most brain dead agency that I interact with, I ask myself what's the point of all this "customer service staff" at the bigger stations if they aren't able to solve your problem.
Was directed to 3 different customer service locations and they were all completely useless. Was told to call the 1-800 number, which did solve my problem.
Not to mention almost every train is operating on 30+ minute delays ON A SATURDAY DURING THE DAY???
Glad I decided to walk to the office today. There's no version of this situation that's fun. #septa #philadephia
Free #SEPTA for city workers starts September 1. We're going to find out how many more people ride when it's #FareFree #FreeTransit

Runaway SEPTA trolley’s brakes were disabled before crash, NTSB says
Beginning September 1, all city workers can ride #SEPTA for free

Starting pay for bus operators:
* Altoona, PA: $27.03
* Philadelphia, PA: $19.23
Pay #SEPTA operators more and there's no more "operator shortage"
@phillycodehound Granted it's been a decade since I've been there, but the overwhelming majority of #SEPTA's light rail fleet were nearly century-old PCC streetcars.
Did SEPTA replace them?
So the #SEPTA subway, El, norristown high speed, and trolleys are being given letter/color names rather than just numbers under a new “metro” banner. A step in the right direction, but it still feels like Green/T (lol) lines are just “Other Trolleys” after Girard and Delaware service got split off.
#SEPTA Regional Rail routes are so terrible. Why would I ever use them instead of driving directly to my destination??
Swarthmore is the first Philly area college to give free #SEPTA passes to all students.
You'd think Penn, with more money than God would've done this already, but they must be too busy graduating the next generation of ruling class monsters or something 🤷♀️

Incredible news! #SEPTA is starting to pilot contactless payment with Google and Apple pay in #Philadelphia! In my experience with the last pilot, this means paying with Google and Apple pay is about a year away from going live to everyone
Are you telling me #Philadelphia has a #crossrail tunnel for it's regional/commuter rail services, and uses it to have the trains just go to the "other" terminal before ending, and doesn't actually do through-running suburb-to-suburb lines?

…and just when we least expect it, the #septa broad-ridge spur shows up. Getting no glory, just quietly hustling and cutting 6 blocks off our walk.
