A Paradise Tree Snake (Chrysopelea paradisi) spotted at Sungei Buloh Wetland Reserve, Singapore, on 16 July 2023. It was moving around, hunting for geckos at a shelter in the reserve. It didn't find any, so no feeding shots. 🙂
This snake is known for its ability to glide long distances by launching itself into the air.

A Striped Bronzeback (Dendrelaphis caudolineatus) spotted at Coney Island on 26 Dec 2022. It popped up next to a group of bird photographers, so it briefly became the centre of attention, until it moved off into the undergrowth.
Bronzebacks hunt frogs and lizards and generally don't bother people.

Yesterday I encountered the Equatorial Spitting Cobra. Today's snake encounter was an Oriental Whipsnake (Ahaetulla prasina) that caught a Changeable Lizard (Calotes versicolor) that caught a grasshopper or cricket: a two level predation. 🙂 Spotted at Coney Island, Singapore, on 26 Dec 2022.

A Striped Bronzeback (Dendrelaphis caudolineatus) spotted at Coney Island on 19 June 2022. It was hunting among the roots of a tree on the ground. It also displayed a wriggling neck with a raised head on occasion. Perhaps a warning display at me, as I was standing about 1 metre away.

First cool spotting of the year. An Equatorial Spitting Cobra (Naja sumatrana) spotted at Sungei Buloh Wetland Reserve on 9 Jan 2022. It appeared to be hunting for food, as it spent some time looking inside a mud lobster mound before poking its head out and vanishing into the undergrowth.
