To make it easier to keep up with the latest #serpentos developments we started a #devlog thread on our forums:
This is a gift I didn't see coming! I'm playing with this today for sure. Can't install it or do anything productive with it, but it's the SerpentOS inaugural release and I'm here for it!

Not done one of these for a while. Super quick/rough video showing where the infrastructure is currently at :)

Hey @ermo looks like @frameworkcomputer joined mastodon ^^ Be nice to eventually get #serpentos working on one of those :)
Hi. I'm ermo. I work with @ikey on #SerpentOS. Was a Solus contributor for a while before that and thoroughly enjoy tinkering with Linux & FreeBSD.
I'm into PC hardware, cars, motorcycles, planes, tools, small arms and mechanical engineering design in general. I also get a kick from etymology and, more broadly, the history of ideas.
I'm keen on #dlang and functional programming. My first introduction to a real PL was Standard ML, so I'm fond of strongly typed FP PLs in general.

Looks like PowerWalker has some rather affordable UPS SKUs, some of which are even supported by https://networkupstools.org/stable-hcl.html
I've just ordered 3 PowerWalker VI 3000 SCL FR UPS 1800Watt units for the Serpent OS Avalanche build servers I'm hosting, plus a couple of PowerWalker VI 850 SHL FR UPS 480Watt for the networking equipment connecting them to you lot.
Here's hoping they don't suck...
How many developers does it take to write a blog post?
Three, apparently. Team blog post showing the *mahusive* progress we've made lately - detailing our (imminent) next steps.

Making some fantastic progress with Summit+Avalanche lately =) #serpentos #dlang
Almost done implementing the pairing spec for Avalanche/Summit for #serpentos ! First stage of the handshake is complete, now for the callback implementation
OK some progrn ess from last night - adding a builder (Avalanche endpoint) to Summit, our #serpentos dashboard.
Need to hook up the coroutine bits in the background now, i.e construct new system account and assign token request, send off enrolment, etc. Getting there though.
