#SSRIs #sertralinr #zoloft etc might sometimes be seen as overrated - or similarly that #happiness itself is overrated. I think the role of SSRIs is more modest: That they can reduce anxiety. Incr happiness, mitigating depression - all thats multifactoral obvs. But I think #dopamine regulation, its effect on executive function, and then indirectly its influence on meaning, purpose - that plus #serotonin reg - is a wider scoped path.
