Howdy folks!

Call me Hadrian (real name is different irl, attempting to reclaim some anonymity on the modern internet).

I'm a cis gay cub originally from Syracuse, NY, partnered to a wonderful bear, currently finishing out a stint working in Austin, TX. I help build manufacturing environments and wastewater treatment centers.

Tons of interests, including tabletop roleplaying games (Shadowrun, Monsterhearts, and Stars Without Number are some favs), gardening/botany, art museums, weird movies, any kind of music, cooking, queer history, and politics.

I make ambient music! I'll probably be posting links to my SoundCloud occasionally.

I do my best to punch up and not down.

Moved over to 4bear from mastodon.lol since apparently that instance imploded. I'll be migrating all my stuff over from the previous account once .lol stabilizes long enough for me to do it...lol

I haven't deleted emails in 10+ years though. It takes forever to move. 🙄

Apparently my memory is better than I thought because I'm suddenly remembering the people who followed me usernames. If I follow you it's because I suddenly remembered your name so be impressed lol 😂 the migration to another instance isn't going well at all (the previous server I was on either stopped working completely or is shutting down without telling the users) so I'm glad I'm remembering names.

I tried to move from another server to here. Followed the process and was confirmed for action.

In the end, landed with zero following and followers here. Old server lost followers as well.

I am not worried. Just beginning for me to engage in conversations. I just manually followed some and disabled the redirections on old service. So both are operational.

A big plus - SDF has 2FA enabled.

I just changed my Mastodon instance.

mastodon.social was good to start, but since many instances cut the connections there, because the moderation there seems to be not so good, I am now at mastodon.green.

I hope I can stay here!

(Moving is really easy by the way! And better at the beginning, where you haven't written much yet, than later!)

@reliablyjeff Same thing happened to me, Jeff (I swear I followed the instructions). It might be that. I kinda used the local and federated timelines to retrieve and re-follow. It wasn't that bad. #servermove

If I was following you and now suddenly I’m not, please like / fav this. I suspect the server migration is just slow but I’ve lost a bunch of people. Thanks!
