This was a hotel just outside of Sete Cidades in São Miguel, Açores. My understanding is it was plagued by moisture issues and almost non-existent tourism when it first opened; it operated for only a very brief period of time.

If you do happen upon this place, be warned - the floors are slick and there are open shafts throughout the building.
