We went on an impromptu storm chase today -- first attempt of the season -- not expecting to see much. We didn't see much in the way of cloud structure, which is my favorite. As I stood outside our lunch stop for a few moments shooting a quick video, I did manage to capture this twin CC lightning discharge. The day's high winds made it thrilling and we had a good time. Nice to be home, though, with trees and branches falling all over the place! #lightning #severestorm #stormchase #videoframe
