Up and out on the #bike before 5am.Rode down into the #Severn gorge .Saw the sun come up over Sutton Hill on the way back up the Silkin Way. So quiet apart from the birds.

Eventful #bikeride down into the #Gorge this morning. The #River #Severn in #flood but the barriers in #Ironbridge have held. The Boat Inn is flooded.This is where I had to fix my first puncture for a couple of years and proved quite problematic as did cricking my back lifting the bike . : (

Always struggle to grasp the scale and size of the #Confluence of the Rivers #Severn & #Vyrnwy as they arrive in #Shropshire! It was looking more like a sea today than a #river. Flowing at well over 200 tonnes of water per second.
