#WeekendSewingClub reality check… sometimes I’m just not feeling it. Sometimes I get part-way through a #sewing project and feel irrationally depressed about the whole thing, even when, on the surface, it looks like it’s working fine. So I give myself unconditional permission to cut my losses, regardless of the fabric and time/effort wasted. This is one of those occasions. No, I’m not interested in suggestions of how to salvage any of it, I just need it out of my sight. #sewingWoes #dressmaking

I had plans to make two lined sweater dresses in very different ways, using different fabrics, that happened to be the same outside color. The one on the left was put in for a pre wash, this morning and was chewed to death by my washer. I am very sad.

Let us all mourn the loss of our fabric brethren with a moment of silence.
