Tomorrow the UK Legal Services Board (an independent regulator) is launching an inquiry into the inclusion of #NDAs (gagging clauses) in legal settlements to assess whether voluntary undertakings to stop misuse of NDAs in areas from #University complaints to #sexualharrasment have made any inroads into stopping their misuse.

After revelations about NDAs' role in aspects of various #MeToo related cases, we've all become more aware of their dangerous effect(s)

Not only has the Govt. not come up with its own #sexualharrasment bill (the one navigating the HoC/HoL is a private members' bill), it now seems that a concerted campaign of amendments from #Tory peers will ensure even this bill falls by the way side as its unlikely to have time allocated to it when it returns to the HoC to discuss the amendments.

If #RishiSunak & the #Tories were really serious about responding to #MeToo then they'd be adopting this bill & allocating it time, but they won't!
