"Rape is not sex" implies that sex is not violent or wrong, but it can be both.
Rape and sex are a spectrum.
No means no, but yes can mean any number of things:
* oh my god, yes please!
* yes, because it's you asking
* okay, let's get this over with, so you will shut up about it
or even:
* yes, because I'm afraid to say no.

I spent 33+ years as a field officer for the GCHQ, the first 20 as a commissioned combat officer & the last thirteen-plus as a deep-cover Major Lieutenant., During that time, I forsook meaningful relationships for the sake of my missions and nearly died 100 times over. It was a lonely, grueling lifestyle & it did a lot to frame my thoughts on monogamy & the sanctity of relationships.

I've used #nonbinary for years now, but somehow that's not "specific" enough so I've shifted to #transfeminine. I usually recoil at being called masculine terms, but somehow "#femboy" seems okay. Most people (including me until very recently) have never heard terms like "toric" or "androphilic;" I usually just have to give a rather clunky explanation in settings like dating apps. :zerotwo_shrug:

2. "Gender" is a socially constructed, societal system in which psychological, social and cultural aspects of sexes are socially construed.
