@linguistics I just can't stop talking about "sexy baby voice"! The "slurring" that Bell lists as a characteristic of "sexy baby voice"? It's been identified as a general characteristic of feminine speech. Vocal coaches call it legato articulation, and it's all about slowing down the transitions between phonetic segments!
