MZB has created a wonderful world with a setting packed full of a rich and strange culture. It's a pity that this first novel never got a sequel. What I would say though is that the story and dialogue are very basic and the characterisation is non existent. #SciFi #SFbooks #MZB #GoodReads

You know it's 'Hard SF' when you get 2 full chapters discussing the power source for a ships generator. It's highly episodic and very much of it's time. Reading it was like doing historical research. #SciFi #SFbooks

Started on Aestus1 by @szattwellauthor this evening. Read 114 pages in one go. Love the story and characters already.
