'NWS said Thursday that anyone planning to drive in the mountains should finish their travel by 1 p.m. Friday.

I read the Washington Post daily when I lived in DC -- 1974-1981. Now, not so much but it was (and I assume) still is a excellent newspaper with a focus on politics (of course).

For well rounded periodical reading, one really needs to read not only the Post but also the #WSJ (for financial news) and #NYT (for national and cultural news & info).

For local news, I read the #SFGate and the #SFChronicle.

I've got nothing better to do, so I review each of these periodicals online each day.
