Just been wilding on the chord engine in real time against a preset sequence on the SH-4d, scrolling through chord types and inversions and pitch transpositions at random and being surprised by how good it sounds despite my avant garde fiddling. 🧐😃😎

Anyone else "digging deep" into the #roland #mc707 (or related machines) in terms of sound design? Boosts welcome!

One current issue for me is that I cannot figure out how to use LFO1 to control the rate of LFO2. The feature seems to exists in the "matrix control" section, but I can't get it to work.

I noticed that it should be possible because of this #sh4d video by Jorb: https://youtu.be/pWwlvgEMf-k After all, most of the #sh4d seems to be the same engine, just with a different UI...

Just got my Roland SH-4d an hour ago. It's hooked up to Bitwig over a single USB-C cable , mixing & some minor effects in Bitwig, but this is a 909 Kit, SH-101 bass, Juno-106 pad, and a Cross-FM lead all from the SH-4d. Nothing exciting, just a quick loop...
