For reasons I don't entirely understand, the extended #SouthAfrican #jazz scene has been producing music which is disproportionately likely to join my strong favorites – like especially Wisdom of Elders by #Shabaka & the Ancestors (which Mr. #Makhathini plays on!)

I'm still in mourning about Sons of Kemet, but fear not, #Shabaka's astro-jazz journey is still on its way with The Comet Is Coming
