Today in the #ise2023 lecture you will learn how to unleash the power of OWL, the Web Ontology language, as well as how to implement quality assurance for #knowledgegraphs with SHACL

This year we will have another edition of the @VAIA #UGent #course on #LinkedData and #Solid !
This course touches the basics of Linked Data, #KnowledgeGraph, #RML, #SHACL, #ShEx, Solid, and #ontologies so you can use these technologies in your own products!

Towards a Mapping Framework for the Tenders Electronic Daily Standard Forms by Alexandros Vassiliades is now live at the Knowledge Graph Construction Workshop!

Just came across LinkML, a flexible modeling language allowing you to author schemas in #YAML that describe the structure of your data.
Validate/generate #JSON, #JSONLD, #RDF, #SPARQL, #SHACL, #ShEx, #OWL.

Thanks to #omeNGFF for heads-up

I'm happy and proud to see this work together with @chkashifrabbani and @kuzeko published at #PVLDB.
QSE is an approach that enables extracting validating shapes (#shacl) from #KnowledgeGraphs at the size of #Wikidata on a commodity machine!

Just came across "SHACL Test Suite and Implementation Report" (https://w3c.github.io/data-shapes/data-shapes-test-suite/) This could be interesting for adding appropriate tests to the #SKOS / #SkoHub shape: https://github.com/skohub-io/shapes
I needed a faster JS #shacl validation engine with a coverage report, so I wrote one from scratch. Current state:
โ passes test suite
โ report contains coverage
โ faster ๐๐๐
โ code cleanup for release
I'm happy to share that we got 2 papers accepted today.
The first one on "Extraction of Validating Shapes from very large Knowledge Graphs" was accepted at #VLDB2023, authors: K. Rabbani, M. Lissandrini, K. Hose
The second one on "Scaling Large RDF Archives To Very Long Histories" was accepted at #ICSC2023, authors: O. Pelgrin, R. Taelman, L. Galร rraga, K. Hose

I'm very happy to announce that our paper about a comparison of #VOWL and #UML based #SHACL visual notations got accepted by the @SW_Journal ๐ Many thanks to all co-authors and of course also the reviewers for their constructive comments! @IDLabResearch http://www.semantic-web-journal.net/content/visual-notations-viewing-rdf-constraints-unshacled
รberraschend einfach, eine #rdf Ontology mit shape constraints #shacl in eine #relaxng grammatik zu รผbersetzen.
