I should have said, I've been using mine for a while and am quite OK with lying on it naked.

I'm interested in how people see the physiological and psychological benefits (or not).

Physiologically it's meant to improve circulation.

Psychologically it's more complicated. In some ways it's like meditation, but I find that it focuses my mind. As long as I can focus on pleasant stuff, I can let that displace the other things that are annoyingly playing tag in my head. That makes me feel quite refreshed
